1. Are you more afraid of the doctor or dentist?
As someone in medicine, I should probably say neither, but I will have to say the dentist. At least doctors ask questions first… dentists start approaching you with the equipment immediately.

2. If you could have a lifetime supply of anything what would it be?
If I could have a lifetime supply of anything It would be Time because time is the one resource that touches every aspect of life as we live it. In medicine, I’ve learned that when people are facing illness and life threatening experiences, what they want most isn’t wealth or material items but time. That perspective truly changed me.

3. What’s the worst date you’ve been on?
I am fortunate enough to have only ever been in one relationship and have never experienced a bad date. Even when things go wrong and plans change, I think that its about the person you are with and how you make each other feel that is important for experiencing the joy in life even in life’s unexpected pitfalls.

4. If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
My superpower would be to pause time. Time is what gives life meaning because for each of us it is finite. Life moves so quickly we do not realize the value of moments until it has long passed. If I could pause time I'd use it to truly cherish those moments with loved ones and experience life in the moment and when my time is up I can truly say I lived.

5. Is there anything about you that people are surprised to learn?
Growing up, I did not envision my life in medicine initially. Up until 9th grade, I had my heart set on Paleontology as a career. My mom shut down the idea, siting job security as a reason. And that’s how life took a different trajectory.
