1. Are you more afraid of the doctor or dentist?
Neither, but I am definitely the type of person who avoids going unless I absolutely have to. I could be black and blue or in a ton of pain and still convince myself I’m “fine” and just keep going with my day. It’s definitely a family trait. We tend to tough things out a little too long before finally admitting we should probably go to urgent care.

2. If you could have a lifetime supply of anything what would it be?
Probably time or plane tickets. Time with the people you love and experiences you’ll remember forever are hard to beat. Between teaching, grad school, and life always feeling busy, I’ve learned how valuable quality time and meaningful experiences really are. I love traveling, exploring new places, and making memories with the people I care about, so having more opportunities to do that is something I’d never take for granted.

3. What’s the worst date you’ve been on?
I honestly can’t think of a truly terrible date, which probably means one of two things: either I’ve been lucky, or I’ve mentally blocked the bad ones out. Either way, I’m choosing to take that as a good sign. Even if I haven’t had a terrible date, I’ve definitely had experiences that taught me more about myself, what I value in a person, and the importance of never settling.

4. If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
I would want the ability to help people believe in themselves. As a teacher, I’ve seen how much confidence and encouragement can change someone’s life when they finally feel seen and believed in. It’s something I could’ve used growing up, because it took me years to recognize my own worth and potential. Being able to help others see their strengths, especially when they can’t see them themselves, would be the coolest superpower I could imagine.

5. Is there anything about you that people are surprised to learn?
I’m a huge sports fan, especially college football. Growing up as a cheerleader meant I spent most of my time at sports fields and gyms, so I quickly fell in love with athletics. I’m a massive BYU football fan (Go Cougs!) and love everything about game days, from Fan Fest to watching warmups before kickoff. Last year, I traveled to the Big 12 Championship and the Pop-Tarts Bowl in Orlando to cheer on BYU.
