Ashley - Top 7
1. Are you more afraid of the doctor or dentist?
I’m more afraid of the dentist than the doctor, although I appreciate both! I love my smile and it’s my favorite feature, so I always want to keep it healthy and bright! Going to the dentist always makes me a little nervous but honestly, my love for my smile outweighs the fear. I truly believe a smile is the prettiest thing you can wear and a simple smile can change someone’s whole day!
2. If you could have a lifetime supply of anything what would it be?
Cat treats! Specifically chicken flavored temptations because my tuxedo cat, Binx, is absolutely obsessed with them! He’s my partner in crime and keeping him happy is one of my favorite things. Sharing his excitement over a treat makes the small moments in life so sweet. A lifetime supply of treats would make us both so happy!
3. What’s the worst date you’ve been on?
Unfortunately, the worst date I’ve been on was with someone who didn’t really engage in conversation. I found myself asking all the questions and doing most of the talking I felt like I was on a one-person stage! It really opened my eyes and reminded me how much I value someone who’s not afraid to share a laugh and good conversation.
4. If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Teleportation! I love traveling the world and I have a passion for exploring new cultures. Traveling has helped me become more open-minded and it broadens my perspective on life. Teleportation would let me see it all, while still making it back in time to teach my students and share my experiences! A quick morning coffee in Paris, lunch in Tokyo, and watching the sunset in Bali! I would be able to do it all!
5. Is there anything about you that people are surprised to learn?
People are usually surprised to learn that I wasn’t always this confident in myself. While I’m outgoing now, a lot of my growth comes from taking time to reflect, set goals, and push myself outside of my comfort zone. This journey has helped me build resilience and self-belief. I try to always keep myself grounded and remind myself that confidence isn’t something you’re born with, but something you develop through overcoming life’s challenges.
