As Miss Massachusetts International Michelle has dedicated herself to the platform: "Breathe Easier, Support Asthma Awareness." Michelle has suffered with asthma all her life and has turned this into an opportunity to educate the public and asthma sufferers of the prevalence of asthma and the need for management resources. Michelle has been able to work very closely over the years with the American Lung Association in helping to coordinate the Boston Asthma Walk. Most recently she was able to work with Rep. Sanchez to help draft a bill, "An Act for Asthma Management", in which she also had the opportunity to testify before Congress. Michelle has also spoken at several schools around the state of the importance of asthma management. As Miss International®, Michelle will continue her work promoting asthma awareness and inspiring others to live a life without limits.
