Jessica Bryant

People's Choice Award

Would you like to be the next Miss New York International?  Our pageant will take place on October 11th, 2008 in the Greater Binghamton area. 

Born over 2 months pre-mature, at 4 pounds, Miss New York International 2008 spent the first months of her life in an incubator at Strong Children's Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As a result of being born pre-mature, Jessica developed asthma, and a love of helping children with life-threatening medical conditions, both which have affected her life in immense ways.  Living with asthma has meant that Jessica has had to work harder than most to achieve physical goals many find simple.  She became a talented Italian Opera Vocalist, a Certified Lifeguard, and excelled at Women's Lacrosse, Cheerleading and Gymnastics.  Jessica graduated Cum Laude from Keuka College with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications and minors in Marketing and American Sign Language.  She was President of her Business Club and was inducted into three honor societies.  Jessica is training to run the ING New York City Marathon in November. 

Jessica dedicated her year as Miss New York International to enriching the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions with her platform, the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Jessica serves as a Wish-granter, and a member of the Speaker's Bureau for the Metro New York Chapter, and is regularly involved in special events and fundraisers for Make-A-Wish and other health-related charities. 

For two years, Jessica has lived on the beautiful ocean shores of Long Beach, on Long Island.  She is employed as a Category Manager for Lifetime Brands, where she designs and markets dinnerware for some of America's most well-known home goods brands.  She also teaches classes part-time for the Barbizon School of Modeling.  In her spare time, Jessica enjoys sailing, cooking, and spending time with family.
