A true born “leader”, since a young age Tiffany Conte has been recognized and received awards for her leadership in her community and her schools. Tiffany’s gift to lead and help others, along with experiencing the tragic lose of young friends due to poor judgment is what led her to become a member of SADD eight years ago. SADD, “Students Against Destructive Decisions” has been and will always be one of Tiffany’s life long passions. Tiffany is a twenty-one year old senior at Gainesville State, pursuing her bachelors in athletic training and a Masters in nutrition. At school, she is a leader on the Campus Activities Board, and works as a fitness trainer in the gym, all while excelling in academics. Her campus spare time is spent speaking with her classmates and distributing brochures about her platform SADD. In May, Tiffany was so grateful to be crowned Miss Georgia 2008 because she knew with out a doubt, her title would give her even bigger opportunities to promote SADD at a national level. Tiffany and other members of SADD are determined to stop destructive decisions that young people are forced to face on a daily basis. Tiffany’s goal is to provide the best prevention and intervention tools possible, so that today’s young people will make the right decisions on underage drinking, substance abuse, impaired driving, family problems, sex, proper nutrition and other life decisions. In addition to “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”, Tiffany’s motto is “We, as leaders, must go out into all communities and empower more young people to also go out as leaders and educate their schools and communities”.
