1.What is 1 beauty product you cannot live without?
The first thing I notice about a person is his or her emotional state. Through my experience as a victim of bullying, I became very intuitive, having the instinct to tell how someone is feeling at a given moment.
2.If you had to do over anything what would it be?
As a recent graduate with a Master of Arts in Communication and a teaching certification in Speech Arts and Dramatics, my goal is to become a high school communications teacher. Due to bullying, high school was the most difficult time for me; however, a time where I grew the most as an individual. I welcome the opportunity to work in a high school to promote a positive learning environment and cultivate a healthy social environment.
3.Who would you love to meet and why?
The first thing I would do is give my parents the money needed to finish rebuilding our home after it was severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy. Nearly eight years after the superstorm, my father is still working three jobs to simultaneously support our family and gain the financial capability to complete the renovations.
4.Favorite vacation?
When I was in elementary school, I was very passionate about collecting everything. My parents and I bought every Beanie Baby, Build-A-Bear, slap bracelet, Tamagotchi, Homies, and much more. I definitely missed out on an incredible opportunity to become the youngest multi-million dollar business owner selling all of my “collectable†items!
5.What do you normally eat for breakfast?
On a rainy day, I enjoy singing karaoke with my family and dancing with my two dogs and two cats. Our family has owned a DJ company for 30 years. We love setting up our professional sound system in our living room and singing our hearts out. After 27 years, I am finally overcoming my fear of singing in front of others, including my family!
