What does it mean to be a modern woman?
The beautiful thing about being a modern woman is that you can be whoever and whatever you want. The key to being a successful modern woman is confidence. There is no box that the modern woman can be placed into because she is not only adaptable but also multifaceted, humble and aware of how important her position is within this world.

When does a girl become a woman?
I believe a girl becomes a woman the moment she no longer is told who she is and only living to please herself and not the people around her. When she accepts her own reality and walks divinely in her purpose. When you transition from girlhood to womanhood your appetite for non-sense and acceptance becomes minimal and your appetite for meaningful relationships and purpose become priority. How do you handle disappointment?
Over the years I have grown from the person who had an unhealthy habit of acting unaffected by things and felt the need to be very “strong” no matter what to now giving myself space to feel disappointment or hurt even if for a short period of time because I realized how unhealthy it is to be emotionally detached. My remedy for overcoming disappointment now is journaling, quiet time, prayer, and a little bit of music.

What's been a picture-perfect moment in your life?
The most picture-perfect moment of my life to memory was the last day of undergrad in college because it represented not only the end of a journey that I fought everyday to win, but also was the start of the life that I am now blessed enough to live. From the t-shirt, sweatpants, all-nighters, and walks in the rain it was a beautiful day.

How do you handle stress and pressure?
I take on stress and pressure by leaning into God and my support system. The moments I am the most stressed are when I try to take on too much on my own. Considering my struggle with anxiety I have learned that Is important for me to step back, make lists, sit in silence and say a prayer for me to balance any emotions I may be feeling when life seems to be more than I can handle.
