1. Are you more afraid of the doctor or dentist?
Being a good friend means being someone that people can rely on. Some of the most important aspects of friendship are love and loyalty. I always say that I have made some of my best friends through pageantry, and that I know if I broke down anywhere in the country I have someone I can call for help and comfort in a stressful situation. That is what it means to me to be a good friend.
2. If you could have a lifetime supply of anything what would it be?
As someone who deals with anxiety on a daily basis, I can tell that I am beginning to get stressed when I start to become overwhelmed by the simplest tasks. It has taken me a long time to learn different solutions to this, but I have been blessed with the most amazing support system for when stress begins to sneak back into my life.
3. What’s the worst date you’ve been on?
I sit down with a pen and paper to really think the situation through. This is the best way for me to get my feelings out and to have a better understanding of my emotions in order to find the best solutions for any difficult situation.
4. If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
I see dignity as a sense of pride in oneself. It is knowing that you are worthy of honor and respect and that you are capable of anything you set your mind to. It ultimately comes down to being and knowing that you are the best possible version of yourself.
5. Is there anything about you that people are surprised to learn?
My Great Grandad was on the jury for the Scottsboro Boys trial and he was the reason they were not given the death penalty! When he was leaving the trial someone stabbed him in the back from the top of his back to the bottom, he had a lasting scar from his side down his back. His name was Robert E. Lee Golden.
