1. Are you more afraid of the doctor or dentist?
Lucille Ball once said, “love yourself first and everything else falls in line.” Self love and a positive mindset are essential in finding the courage to follow your dreams. Given the nature of the world today, this mentality allows an individual to overcome the hurdles in the way of their goals because of the confidence it fosters.

2. If you could have a lifetime supply of anything what would it be?
One of my pet peeves is seeing assumptions be made based on stereotypes because of the barriers created by that attitude. Stereotyping implies the idea that individuals are the same, but in reality, we all have specific characteristics and traits that make us who we are. Individuality should be celebrated and shared with the world, not depicted by a false narrative created from typecasting.

3. What’s the worst date you’ve been on?
As a full time business student, time management techniques are vital for my success. For example, I have learned to hold myself accountable through setting schedules as I’ve advanced through my college career. I firmly believe that this approach to organization is shaping my personal and professional growth in a way that will allow me to strive for success in the future.

4. If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Family is a huge source of strength for me, and my relationship with my grandmother is one that I cherish. Whenever she sees that I may be stressed or anxious, she tells me, “think of pineapples.” While this may sound a little bizarre, pineapples symbolize prosperity and positivity in my family. Her saying those three words is exactly what I need to find peace and to bring a smile to my face.

5. Is there anything about you that people are surprised to learn?
My childhood dream was to be a nurse because I wanted nothing more than to be just like my mom. As I grew older, I realized I share the same passion for healthcare as my mom, but my interest in the field took a different path as I learned more about becoming a physician recruiter. It is important to prioritize the best path for you and chase the opportunities that bring you joy.
