Miss Arizona International®

Nicole Falsone - Top Ten

People's Choice Award

Nicole Falsone was crowned as Miss Arizona International 2007 in March.  Her journey into the world of pageants started with a desire to raise awareness of Rheumatoid Arthritis in young adults.  This debilitating disease has been a battle for Nicole’s lifelong friend since her early twenties.  “When you watch your best friend’s battle against a disease that attacks our joints and tissue, the only feeling I had was helplessness.  This was my only way to feel like I was making difference in her battle and raising awareness that others, like her, can be affected too,” she said.  After working with Arthritis Foundation for many years and maintaining her activity with her local chapter as an Arthritis Advocate, she decided to branch out and shatter the image of Rheumatoid Arthritis being a “elderly person’s disease.”  This year she will launch the “In Motion for a Cure” Campaign to incorporate the Arthritis Foundation’s PACE® (People with Arthritis

Can Exercise) to create and maintain an active lifestyle to maintain mobility.

Nicole is the CEO of Fiore’ Bravata, LLC and GiSo Designs, LLC.  She is very proud of her accomplishments in both companies but explains that her accessory company, GiSo Designs, was established to fund the development of her passion to start a web based non-profit organization.  RAandYou.com is a home base for families, friends and people who are diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA).  The objective is to supply them with a better understanding of the disease by giving them research links, pharmaceutical links, educational web sites, Blogs and everyday products to make the transition into a life with RA easier.

In addition to being a businesswoman, Nicole has a forty-hour workweek in her career.  After completing her schooling in Ophthalmology, she has been employed in her field for over nine years.  In continuing her drive to succeed, she is working on completion of a Degree in Physiology at the University of Phoenix.

She credits her ability to keep her feet on the ground to her very large Italian American family, who feels that with a positive attitude, a passion to succeed, ability to take action and a large bowl of spaghetti…anything is possible!
